  1. Alex Said,

This fight was nothing like the Machida vs Rua fight…..Machida vs Rua was a close fight and really could have gone either way but Rua did NOT take the belt away from Machida. Couture did absolutely NOTHING worthy of winning a fight. All he did was hold him against the cage and virtually Nothing else. Vera, took Couture down, he kicked him and knocked him down and very nearly TKO’d Couture, more than once. WTF?!?!?! I think these judges must be blind…and Dana White as well!

    VERA WAS ROBBED!

  2. PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE Said,

This could be the start something positive out of something negative that probably won’t get fixed anytime soon. Maybe this will encourage all fighters to absolutely end the fights before the last bell as to not leave it in the hands of the judges. Dana didn’t seem to have any other answer other than what he’s been saying for years now.

Seeing as the UFC can’t exist in any states with athletic commissions (which is most of them), I believe the UFC has a huge chip in the big game because of the revenue that these events bring to the host state. They needn’t start a fight with the individual commissions, but they certainly should lobby for certain criteria that needs to be met by each and every ref and judge employed by these sanctioning bodies.

  3. sa Said,

A clear W for Randy, streets would’ve been a draw. The Truth may have caused a little damage but a win for The Natural never the less. Brock will be back with even more fire in his heart. i wouldn’t want to be in the UFC HW division when he returns.
The Brits did great, i am still smiling. Dan and Mike looked tip top, better than everyone thought i think. They had the home advantage but i don’t think that would’ve made much of a difference to be honest. Mike Bisping would beat Hendo with that performance any day. His ground looked brilliant and he outclassed Dennis Kang. I thought it would have been alot closer than that, as Kang is real tough. Dan Hardy has a very good chance against G.S.P, i wish him all the very best. Top work everyone, great night of fights. The level of competition increases.
    Bring it on.

  4. Jennifer Said,

Its odd that Couture seems to do better as a Heavyweight.
