okami is the most underated MW in the UFC. Look at his record, his only losses in the past 5 years have been to (a top notch)rich franklin and cheal sonnen(both by desision). He should get a rematch with the loser of Silva/Sonnen, if he wins that, then a #1 contender match.
August 2nd, 2010 at 6:42 pmMunoz really needs to develop some more aspects in the sport. He has good ground and pound, but Okami showed with great sprawls, Munoz is stumped. Not to mention Okami's striking, while not KO powerful, is accurate.

August 2nd, 2010 at 12:34 pmI've seen other Munoz fights and he does have good groung n pound when he can control his opponent. He couldn't do that with Okami. I don't think Munoz is overrated, just not well rounded at all. These are my own thoughts. Sonnen is overrated, and even though I like him, Forrest Griffin is overrated. Munoz doesn't have that exposure.

August 2nd, 2010 at 9:28 pmI don't even know what that means about Sonnen. I said I liked Griffin, not Sonnen. Those 2 are overrated because of their high exposure with little output. Griffin does have a big fan base and Chael is talking so much shit, people want to see his ass get handed to him. So they are doing good business wise, just not much in their game.
Yeah, the mw's are the least exciting class in the UFC right now. I think it's because nobody has beat Anderson. So who really wants to compete to be the next loser of a title fight. It has to be disheartening to scramble for the silver medal.

I know for a fact that after that match Yushin actually went to train with Chael for a few months so hopefully he'll relocate to an American MMA camp and diversify. I'd like to see him actually develope a better offensive grappling style and throw some more kicks.

August 3rd, 2010 at 5:59 amu must be the one who's not watching. see the 2nd round? munoz scored on that round. he knocked down okami. the 3rd round is the decision on which the judges would give the edge. they gave it to okami for dominating the 3rd rnd.
August 3rd, 2010 at 4:13 pmI'd still give 1st and 3rd to Okami. Munoz got 1 takedown in 1st round, but Okami instantly got back up. That's pretty much all Munoz did was failed takedowns and that 1 knockdown. Okami showed crisp striking through out and also got knock down.
