Rick Said,
akiyama clearly seem like the winner and did won, i dont know what the announcer is saying that belcher should’ve won but it clearly show that akiyama won the first 2 round,
it’s a known fact that the announcer joe rogan has a good relationship with belcher’s trainer.
i see all 3 rounds going for aki-man.
akiyama had cleaner shots, more knock outs and take downs than belcher.
Belcher's sneaky groin kick let out some steam from Akiyama. And yet, Sexiyama came back to last 3 rounds of tight fight. In this case, you've got to hand it to the new comer, who's not used UFC rules, culture and hostile environment. The fight was very close, and Belcher's kicks seemed to cause a lot of pain and damage, but Akiyama pulled off close rounds in 1 and 2. I can see some fans of Belcher grunting about the split decision, but Belcher let Sexiyama take him to the ground, too many times. Judges had no choice but to give it to Akiyama for his tireless effort.
