WTF?! This shit worked at first and I was able to see the fight but then I wanted to show it to someone else and now it doesnt work!
faaaaaak!!! This was so frustrating….I really wanted nate to win and get his title shot! But much respect to Sonnen. Wasn't the most exciting fight….but he showed some sick control.

This is why I didn't feel Marquardt should've fought Silva right after his 1 hit wonder over Maia, Silva would've just dominated him once again. Unfortunately Sonen backed up all of his sh*t talking with a very dominating win over who I thought was the 2nd best mw in the UFC. Although I do think Vitor would beat Nate as well, and not because Marquardt just lost, but because Vitor has the stand up advantage with ko power in either hand and he's a legitimate BJJ Blackbelt. But since he hasn't fought at mw yet, we'll have to see how he handles the weight cut.
I thought all along that Anderson would be just too much in the standup for Vitor, thnking he would tko the Phenom in 3 rds, but because HUMBUG says he's nervous about the fight, now I'm a little nervous. Alls it takes is one solid shot from a big puncher like Belfort and I just don't recall a big puncher hitting Silva yet.
Why don't you think Sonnen is ready for a title shot, he just completely dominated the consensus #1 guy in the division. And this wasn't a newby wrestler who just came along and held Marquardt the whole fight, but he effectively controlled him and was pounding him every chance he could. Chael is a veteran (35 fights) who's been around awhile and with all of his talk about Silva, as well as this impressive performance, there would be no better time. Although, I'm not too sure Silva will want to waste his time with Sonnen, seeing he wants to end his career fighting only the best, it might not happen. But Anderson still needs to get by Vitor.
jesus.. i was squirming in my chair throughout that whole fight.. sonnins fight game is effective but a little one dimensional. im interested to see what happens when he gets in the ring with a fighter who stuffs all of his takedowns.
I think you're right though Anderson always pulls through, this time should be no different. What makes MMA great though so many points where a fight can turn in the blink of an eye.
Nice performance, but if this guy thinks he can hang with Silva he's got another thing coming. Anderson has the most underrated ground game in 185 and his striking is world class obviously. Everyone says they can beat Silva, but nobody can at 185. I think Dan Henderson was the worst match-up for Anderson at 185 with his knockout power and great wrestling. I don't see anybody challenging Silva at 185.
With Pride's way of judging things Nate would've probly won because of his efforts to finish the fight.

As long as The Spider gets rid of Vitor, I think a matchup with Sonnen would be one heck of a fight!
