The biggest names he's ever fought against and won are Marquardt & Okami. He's fought Forrest Griffin, Renato Sobral, Demian Maia, and Jeremy Horn (3 times) and lossed every one of those fights. How the hell does he think he can beat Anderson Silva. Better fighters than him have tried.

Don't get me wrong, I want him to win but the stuff he is saying is bizzarre. Sure he has a chance, every fighter has a chance to win, but the probability is that Silva is going to make an example out of him. Silva has everything to lose because he has been placed on a pedestal. So if Sonnen wins after talking all this sh*t it will make his fall from grace that much more painful.

But this behavior, by a lesser man (in stats,… and manners), seems more focused on VOTE collecting, or Mind washing.
The BIG PICTURE is, Everyone knows he has no chance, and once Silva beats his ass, he'll fall so low in the ranks, that I doubt he'll stay in the roster. The only chance HE has, is if SILVA doesn't delever like everyone expects. So he is making as much sound as posible, so that ATLEAST people will say, JA, do you remember the loudmouth?
