REDONKULOS that is my new word to describe this fight. Alexander looked like he got hit in the head too many times, he thought he was playing ring around the rosie instead of being in a fight. What kind of game plan was that??? maybe if i run in a circle i will get him dizzy. kimbo is learning good for him. I agree he needs Cardio but if he can make 212lbs no reason he cant make 205. He would do a lot better at that weight. Keep working kimbo you get an `A` for improvement.

Houston Alexander is one rich bastard now after getting PAID to throw that fight. Did you see him after he threw the big leg kick that took Kimbo down? If he were fighting for real, he woulda jumped on Kimbo and KTFO'd him in 5 seconds. Instead, his reaction after the big kick was like, "Oh shit, that wasn't supposed to take Kimbo down like that…..goddammit, I waited for 5 seconds and he still hasn't gotten, up…I'd better jump on him and pretend like I'm trying to hit him or else people are gonna know I threw this fight." This is such a bad move by the UFC to invest in Kimbo like this. They're gonna have to keep throwing him paid-off chumps in order for him not to lose, hoping that he actually does improve his game in the meantime where they can finally stop paying off his opponents to lose.

I don't think that Kimbo is a natural 265 pounder. I think he walks around 245 or so. I could be wrong though.
Anyways, I agree with the stamina but I also realize that the Ultimate Fighter revealed Kimbo's knee as another weakness. Houston proved it during the 3rd round. From here on out, Kimbo is going to have to make sure he checks those kicks or its ballgame!
The look on Kimbo's face when Houston kicked his knee out from him showed me that Kimbo was hurt badly and thought about just laying there. Then I saw his heart and pride bring him back to his feet. I hoped for a 1st round KO, but I really enjoyed the fight because it gave MMA fans a chance to see Kimbo's improvements on the ground! I was really hoping that Kimbo would have ended the fight with that rear naked choke!
So hopefully Kimbo keeps working on his ground game and his stamina so we could see a few more good fights from him before he hangs up his gloves!

OK THIS IS FOR EVERYONE TO READ AND LEAVE AN OPINION ON:im so glad kimbo is showing a ground game because we all knew he was a powerful son of a bitch, but he still has one major flaw that we saw…….he has no stamina, if he were to fight someone such as brock who is a ig guy with stamina he would get demoralized, unless he caught brock with a punch, i hope kimbos stamina increases, or maybe he just has too much mass for tha, because hes naturally 265 pounder but now hes 212? i dunno thats alot of cutting weight

that having been said, i do think Alexander should be cut. reality is he only beat a Jardine who went into that fight expecting a joke fighter (Jardine's own mistake overlooking someone, i'll grant you). but i'm pretty certain if they fought again, Jardine would beat Alexander the way everyone pretty much expected him to.

but the fact is, Alexander's not at UFC level. i can accept you always need your mid-tier stepping stones for promotional purposes, but i have my doubts Alexander's even mid-tier frankly.

I agree. This was a fight that both fighters really needed to win and that may have been the reason for the 1st round dance (along with respect). Round 2, Kimbo pulled off some take-downs and a devastating slam! I also felt that Houston was going to changed back to himself after the first round, but he didn't. Overall, I was very impressed with Kimbo's adjustment to the ground game. I hope he continues to get better and actually sinks the rear naked choke more effectively when the next opportunity arises.
I was not a Kimbo fan until he stayed at the house. I hope Joe Silva matches Kimbo up with a similar type of fighter so we can enjoy another Kimbo fight. (But not with Jardine! Jardine will kick Kimbo's leg off and end Kimbo's career)
Who do you think would be a good match up for Kimbo?

Impressive performance from Kimbo and I was not surprised that Houston lost. Houston still hasn't worked on his ground game and that's why Kimbo threw him around like a bitch (or a billy bob). The funny thing is that you have the audacity to say that Tito and Chuck are "has been", WTF? I believe your man crush Houston is a "has been".
Although Kimbo more than likely will not fight for the belt, I am sure most people will look forward to watching him fight again in the UFC.
