brian got lucky. he threw one lucky punch. he was running away then threw one lucky punch. its basically the same thing that happend with rampage jackson and chuck lidell.

There was nothing lucky about that Knock Out, no such thing as a lucky punch. He swung and it fit him in the face, just as he intended. MMA 101 don’t drop your hands and lead with your chin. Sure its an upset…but again don’t drop your hands and come in face first. These are professional fights.
like brian said he stayed calm. torres was fighting like a madman! your gonna get clocked fighting like that!
Lucky punch? When they punch, the punch to hurt the other fighter, so how is that lucky? Plus Bowles’ head was looking him right in the face when that right cought Torres.
Plus I love how Mir and that other guy just tottaly ride Torres’ nutsack, even in defeat. As Brian walked around the cage, still there.
I agree, that wasn’t a lucky punch. Brian knew he was coming hard chasing him down, Brian did a quick break and threw that right hook. Torres going for an arm bar and got clocked again with that right hook! Not a Torres fan, glad he got beat the way he did!
@Aztec King – If you watched the fight, Brian hurt him in the first minute with a “lucky” punch, I like what A-Ron said, there ain’t no lucky punches in MMA, if you got ‘em, throw ‘em, and mymymy, you gots a knockout. Oh yeah!! I love this sport…..I’m gonna ride on Scott Van Pelt at ESPN, he still can’t get over that this is all skill AND brutality….bro, your wife wears a dress, not you.
