  2. JT Said,

Well CC went down again. This is quite disappointing, I really thought he could win this one. Overly cautious it seems in the first two rounds? CC is always going to be great, but not as great as he used to be I suppose.

  3. mike Said,

cc suks.sincehe came to ufc.hebaks up and does not fight

  4. PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE Said,

This is exactly why nobody is a sure thing, when Cro Cop 1st came to the UFC, everyone (including myself) knew he would not only win the title, but rule for quite some time.

That’s why it’s foolish to think that Fedor would do the same. You never know until it happens. While I personally think Fedor would win the title, it’s just not a sure thing like all of those Fedor ball lickers would suggest.

  11. Coach Said,

Santos, is a wonderfull, powerfull yet boyish great M.M.A. Boxer. In correct fashion he
disregards his opponents and uses them almost gleefully as human punching bags. If not
rushed he will be a great champion, if he is rushed in his career he runs the risk of
    being a also ran
Cro Cop is not great the U. S. because he can not use steriods or performance enhancing
drugs as many fighters did legaly in japan. He is not as strong or confident without them,
I have no proof of this it is just my opion. I believe Cro Cop is a great man and fighter
but a victim of the Japanese system Cro Cop should spend 6 months in Thialand and
6 months with Randy to get his eye of the tiger back.
    .

  12. Coach Said,

The Brazilians combination of good Boxing with explosive Muay Thai is very exciting
and a reason for their domination. They even seem to be aware when they are boxing
and when they are doing Thai boxing, this is important because they are fundamentaly
different. They understand the different ranges , footwork , stances , body positions
that make them work. American coaches need to catch up.

  13. WILL Said,

This is an example of what will happen if Fedor comes to the UFC

  14. SYL BYNUM Said,

@Coach@Coach – YOU THINK BRAZILIANS INVENTED FIGHT!!! GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR BUTT…YEA, DOSANTOS IS A GREAT FIGHTER…BUT HE’S NOT ELITE YET…SO STOP PRASING HIM LIKE HE’S GOD’S GIFT TO MMA…LIKE YOU DO ANY OTHER BRAZILIAN FIGHTER! SHUT UP!

[...] Junior “Cigano” dos Santos vs. Marco Crocop [...]

  16. WILL Said,

Not to take sides, but it was a Brazilian that invented the UFC and won the first championships.

If it weren’t for the Brazilians we wouldn’t have MMA at all. We’d still be watching Kickboxing on ESPN.

  17. PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE Said,

@Coach – Jesus Christ, are you talking about a date that you went on with Dos Santos and blew him or relishing his fighting skills?! Chill out with this school boy crush love fest!!!!

Everyone has their turn at the top and right now there’s one great Brazilian in Anderson Silva and Machida of course Machida is a work in progress, too soon to tell. Dos Santos is slowly moving up, but by no means an elite fighter. Despite the UFC having the best heavyweight division in the world, don’t get it twisted, it’s still not stacked with high caliber fighters like their other divisions, it’s just now starting to get more interesting.

So spare us with this supposed Brazilian domination rhetoric, the UFC is over 15 years old and you act like it’s been nothing but a Brazil winners circle since it’s infancy. Are you gonna research the family trees’ of BJ Penn, GSP, Couture, Liddell, Sakuraba, Gomi, Fedor, ect. to see if they have a Brazilian relative in their bloodline?!

It’s ok to be proud, but don’t shove it down the rest of our throats. I’m a fan of Silva’s, but your over the top giddy banter is not only tempting me to hurl my lunch, but would also cause me to not like any Brazilians whatsoever. Were you this excited when Thiago Alves was dominated by GSP or when he was suspended for steroid use?!?!?!?!?!

So save the drama for your mama (I’m assuming she’s Brazilian) and try not to have everyone on here disliking Brazilians.

  18. PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE Said,

@WILL – Who the hell are you, a historian on full contact sports or the guy who was holding Coach’s head while he was blowing Dos Santos on their date?!

Basically what you’re saying is that Brazilians don’t have the entrepreneurial know how and the global business foresight not to sell of a billion dollar business.

That was such an asinine statement to make that it was a Brazilian who won the first championship of a sport at which they invented. Simply brilliant, do you have anymore quotables to “wow” us with? Because I would hope the hell they would win the 1st championship of a sport at which they invented.

So Will, who else should we bow down to for inventing Baseball, Football, Soccer, Tennis, Basketball, Boxing, ect? Because of all those sports, I’m sure the country of origin is dominating those too.

  19. PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE Said,

@hoe – I’m not happy with the downloads on some of the fights either and I hope they can fix it.

But here’s the fascinating part, if you don’t like it, then go somewhere else, personally I don’t know of any other sites that will show the fights right after they happen. If I were you, I would request a refund of the money you paid them.

Um what, so I guess beggers can’t be choosey.

Maybe if you asked the moderators in a more appreciative manner, they just might give you what you want, hmmm.

    BONEHEAD!!!!!

  21. MMA-Hits Said,

    hey guys,

The problem is as soon as I get one posted, some of the other popular sites, will take the same link and it can make for slower d/l’s. I can’t really complain because I’m guilty of doing the same thing.

Trust me, I prefer to have fast downloads for the visitors here. I change the link when possible. Also Rutube can be slow anyway. None of the vids are hosted here.

I just changed the link, so it should load faster now. Enjoy!

  22. Coach Said,

I am a american coach who would like the stand up game to improve across the board
in this country. Mostly in the areas of footwork, stance, and body position, I have no doubts
about the hearts of the fighters.

  23. AaronGTV Said,

    @Coach – i agree 100 percent

Well actually Boxing was invented in Great Britain, but it is the Americans and Mexicans who are dominating it. I don’t know what country invented Soccer, but it appears that more than one country appears to dominate at a time. As for Baseball, has the US competed against the Japanese and Cuban teams?

Whoops looks like your pathetic attempt at a smart ass reply backfired.

  25. PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE Said,

@WILL – You’re absolutely right, it completely backfired on me, seeing as you only answered 1 out of 6 sports given to you in a form of a more than obvious rhetorical question.

I thought you would’ve had the intellect to realize I wasn’t actually seeking an answer to the question, but since you egregiously failed at an attemptive response, you could’ve atleast looked up the others and given yourself the fortune of not looking like someone who’s mentally challenged and fresh out of a diabetic coma.

Anyway, thanks for your participation in MMA Jeopardy, hopefully you’ll do better than 1 out of 6 next time around.

  26. Brad Said,

    @PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE

lol.. you can’t compare Fedor with CC who has always run since the beginning of his career..I did not jump on the bandwagon with CC when he got in the ufc, I just knew he couldn’t run as much. Fedor would wreck everyone in the ufc, it’d be silly actually

  27. elmer reyes Said,

  28. elmer reyes Said,

I read it and I think not! eh read many comments on this fight that is certainly not anything I liked., almost all (Brazilians from what I see) I read them and see their wrong opinion of this great legend that is mirko crocop because it seems incredible that people do not who was taken into account and that everything now has its phase is no longer the same, in this kind of sports as in many past 30 years the body will charge if damage has been done and is logical and even more ingnorante would realize that, mirko wants to keep fighting, unfortunately so, is a born fighter and seems to want to reach the end of this dead or alive, I would have liked to see dosantos mirko fighting at the same age … heck I that the Brazilian would not reach the 5 seconds or 1 round. I like that mirko is withdrawn, the legend and is now a Brazilian fighters defeated dosantos does not arrive or heels. I hate to read every estupides who write this kind of `fighters like Mirko, a gift to us all fans of the arts mixed, large, impressive fights and compare it to this stage with mediocre fighters who are falling at any time without even the taste in the mouth of a world title, I have nothing against dosantos (does not seem right?) but reading all these comments I have no other to make them see reality

  29. PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE Said,

@Brad – I knew it, I knew I would reel in a Fedor Ball Licker with that post.

If you had any kind of sensible wit about you, you would’ve realized my previous post was not a comparative analyzation breakdown of the skill set and ability between the two, but more or less to exemplify the common mistake of ones thoughts about “sure things”.

For you to just relegate Cro Cop off as just some fighter who has ran from his opponents through out his career, simply suggests that, not only your infatuation for Fedor is beyond levels that should be garnered for another guy (Fedor ball licker), but also your lack of knowledge in the sport of MMA. Any and all credible websites, publications and notable figures in the sport would resoundingly disagree with your less than amatuerish assessment of one of the sports most feared strikers.

As far as you not jumping on the Cro Cop bandwagon upon his UFC arrival is just another example of your nescience of the sport. While certainly his first stint didn’t produce what most thought it would, he was undoubtedly entering into the weakest division the company had to offer with little more than a few notable names in the mix, as well as exiting a company which had the strongest hw division.

Obviously reading comprehension is also an elusive trait that has duped you once again. Barring your oblivious nature, I clearly stated that I too believe Fedor would win the UFC title, however I also notated that anything can happen and Fedor too can be upset, much like Shogun was upon his octogon debut.

  30. trevhad Said,

sorry to see cro cop lose again because he is one of the all time greats and deserves alot of respect from all true mma fans but cant help feeling that everytime he loses its just payback from his early days when he used to absolutely knock the living hell out of his opponents!every dog has his day!should just hang his gloves up now cause think its sad when a fighter carrys on just for a pay day!stop now crocop while i still have brilliant memorys of your past days and have respect for you.of course this aint taking anything away from dos santos but lets see you fight for a championship now cause you won fair and square but lets see you fight someone at there peak!wish you all the best in the future

  31. Olny The Truth Said,

  39. Dustin Said,

You are about as dumb as most of the people commenting on here. The only reason why he is failing in the ufc was like most other great pride fighters like some from the past, they have to be use to fighting in the cage, come on he has only had like what 4 fights in a cage? It's the surroundings, trust me, all CC's mma career he has been mainly a ring fighter, not cage……If you understood this, seeing i myself am training to one day become a ufc fighter, being a Austin Tx, amature fighter.
