UFC 115: CHUCK LIDDELL VS RICH FRANLIN ( Updated Couture vs Franklin )
UPDATE: UFC president Dana White has publicly denied that any changes are taking place through multiple posts on his Twitter account.
“Not true!” White stated. “We are doing (Randy) Couture vs. (Rich) Franklin, not Chuck.
“Nothing happened to Tito. Tito and I are cool.”
For now, the proposed third fight between Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz is off. Rumors have spread that Ortiz was unable to finish filming the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter 11. Details have yet to be released. Sources suggest that Rich Frankin has stepped in as coach for the remaining episodes. As a result, Franklin will be facing Liddell at UFC 115 in Vancouver. While nothing has been confirmed by Liddell, Franklin or the UFC, Ortiz recently posted vague references to the situation via Twitter:
“If things couldn’t get worse, they just did!” ”I guess business is business.”
A few days later, Ortiz continued posting messages alluding to some sort of set back.
“Thanks for all the support.” “Thinking that life couldn’t get any harder? It just did! Another challenge that god has given me! Wow.”
“Many things that challenge us in lives will make us stronger. One thing I can say is don’t ever quit. I’m strong because of my family and fans!”

Although, Couture does his laying and praying standing up against the cage…. I would rather see a merge of UFC and WEC with that resulting in much more exciting PPV cards. Then they can put "up and comers" on Verses and Spike. Just my opinion!

March 15th, 2010 at 1:07 amI never saw the point of Tito vs Chuck 3. It is not like the other 2 matches were even close. I like Tito, but his fighting style consists of an obvious game plan, and is not that exciting to watch. In my opinion, Chuck should fight Kieth "the Dean of getting KTFO'd" Jardine, because I think that would be a fight that Chuck could win, and avenge a loss to a far lesser opponent. A good way to go out I think, plus I would hope that Chuck uses his dancing skills to dispatch Jardine in spectacular fashion, re igniting his confidence and sparking a comeback. What can I say? I love watching Chuck!
