Brick Hands Said,
I wonder if Frank Mir is still Obsessed Lesnar……he will never beat lesnar again..other guys i can't see him beating.= Cain Velasquez, Shane Carwin, ..i dont know if it's a better idea to drop down to LHW or retire…..because even in the LHW division there's some tough dudes…too many to name….
I think Mir has finally got over beating Lesnar. He knows he can't but he'll still have fun being a gatekeeper for top tier Heavy Weights in the UFC. Nogeira is going to lose again by TKo.
This was an awesome promo! The UFC should use this. I want to see Nogueira win this because I don't like Frank MIr's personality. He talks too much trash.
Noguiera has lost a step, but I gotta root for him to take out Mir. I could tell immediately in their first fight that something was amiss with him; when Mir came forward with punches he didn't seem to react with any kind of movement at all.. he was just not himself. I see a much better fight this time around.
I LIKE FRANK MIR HES FOM MY CITY LAS VEGAS AND HE HAD TO COME BACK FROM A LOT AS A MARTIAL ARTIST LOVE BIG NOG TO I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS ON THE GROUND BUT I THINK MIR WONT TAKE IT THERE MIR ON THIS ON
Even in the light heavyweight theres some tough dudes?? Dude the light heavy weight division is the toughest division by far, then next would be between middle and welterweight. The heavyweight is the most exciting and packed with good guys as its ever been but its still just getting started like that.
I'm inclined to agree. I wanna say he's still a top-10 guy in the HW division and it'd probably be easier to see where he lands if he were to face off against any of the top title prospects like Velasquez, JDS, or Nelson (Yeah, I know that Nelson beat Mir ina jiu-jitsu competition, but that's completely different from MMA).
Nog is in the twilight of his career and I see him as more of a gatekeeper at this point.
Still not an exciting rematch. Even if Big Nog is in good shape coming in, I think the outcome will be the same as their first meeting, only it may go to decision. Mir's boxing should keep him above water in the score cards, and the ground game, I think nullifies each other.

July 28th, 2010 at 6:14 pmMir will have no chance against Shogun, Machida and many others. He is too slow for LHW, he will get TKO'D first tround every time.

July 29th, 2010 at 6:37 pmMir cannot drop to LHW without having serious health problems. Forget it.
July 30th, 2010 at 12:22 amOnly now Nog won't be sick like last time. Nog FTW!
