UFC president Dana White confirmed the news to Yahoo! Sports. White said Lesnar has been ill for more than three-and-a-half weeks and unable to train. With the bout at UFC 106 less than a month away, Lesnar was forced to postpone the title defense.”He said he’s never been this sick in his life,” White said. “He said it’s been going on for a long time and he just hasn’t been able to shake it.”
Dana White is having a terrible autumn. Between Rampage Jackson walking out on UFC 107, the ugly outcome of the UFC 104 headliner, and this it really looks like someone’s voodoo curse on the UFC has taken hold.
That or the UFC would rather save Lesnar vs Carwin for their New Year’s Eve card.

Lesner should fight even hough he is sick. Carwin might actually have a chance of winning if he did.
This fight has been re-scheduled to UFC 108, on January 2nd. What a PPV that will be, Lesnar VS Carwin, Silva VS Belfort, Evans VS Thiago.
I don’t know how the UFC can keep this a PPV event, without Lesnar and Carwin on the card, it’s just not going to have a good buy rate. I think there’s probably alot of Tito fans out there who are eagerly awaiting his comeback, but the rest of the card is a stretch with the remaining fighters. I was looking forward to the Brock and Shane fight to see Lesnar against a big puncher, but I guess it’s gonna have to wait.
While the other fights (besides Tito & Forrest) were good fights, I have to think Dana is still scrambling to put a couple of big names to fill the void.
Carwin would have beat Lesnar either way, I would love to see Cain step up but that wont happen on such short notice especially right after he just fought but he didnt take any damage and doesnt look like he has any injuries.
