I agree Jake Shields is boring but why did Frank keep saying he was a Jake Shields fan at StrikeForce: Nashville after that boring fight between Henderson and Shields and now saying he sucks and hes boring.

And of course his p4p list, it was just too hard for him because most on the list would be from the UFC, such an obvious transition from that question to SF having so many great fighters around the world, yeah sure Frank.

June 16th, 2010 at 8:41 amFirst off, I agree with what Frank said. Jakes Shields does suck and he is boring. He got full mount after full mount, round after round, and he couldn't finish Dan. He's too one dimensional. Good technique on the ground, but that's it. He either stays with Strikeforce and beats weak opponents or he goes to UFC and gets handled by every decent welterweight and destroyed by the top 3-5. And at least Frank mentions GSP in his pound for pound list.
June 16th, 2010 at 8:55 amNo argument about Jake not being a crowd pleaser, but Jesus Christ give the guy some credit, exactly how many guys do you know that has finished Henderson?! In his illustrious career, only 3 guys have done it, the Nog brothers and Anderson Silva, pretty damn impressive, eh?! Dan has fought and beat mw's, lhw's, and hw's to his credit. Not to mention Jake is really a ww and only moved up because Strikefarce just doesn't have enough competition in any of it's weight classes. I also agree that most of the UFC's top ww's and mw's will beat him, but I'm sure he'll get some good wins with the step up in competition. Saying he sucks shows blatant ignorance to the sport, the guy does have a good ground game.

June 16th, 2010 at 5:39 pmI did say he has good ground game, no question about that, but unlike the Diaz bros and Melendez the guy has no stand up. Although Henderson doesn't get finished often, fighters don't normally hold him in full mount as long as Shields did. I just feel that had it been a better fighter the referee would of stopped the fight, because Henderson wasn't doing anything. I really hope he does go to UFC though.

It's never just an outright insult from myself to any of the posters here, but more of an ongoing war of words that started some time ago. Like I ignored his 1st jab at me about the point system, I would've ignored this one as well, but it surprised me that Ramie made a comment about it as well, so to put the whole thing to rest, I posted my thoughts about the whole system. And no I don't think I'm too good for this site, because I would leave if I thought such a thing, instead (as I wrote above) I would like to just stick to the topic of MMA as well as the facts.

Id love to see frank last 3 minutes with henderson, and he only opens his mouth now because jake is gone!!!! Hes like his brother there both over with but they will say anything to stir things up and try to fight again. I mean come on when was franks last big win, against tito over 10 years ago, hope he chokes on his braces metal mouth
