On February - 10 - 2010

Despite being one of the introductory members of the UFC’s Hall of Fame, as well as being the company’s first Heavyweight Champion, Mark Coleman (7-5 UFC) was cut today from the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Coleman, who put on a dominating performance just 7 months ago at UFC 100 defeating Stephan Bonnar, was given his walking papers earlier this morning. The news was first reported by fiveouncesofpain.com and has since been confirmed.
